Within 12 years between 2010 and 2022 the Massachusetts State, resp. most of its cities and towns did not only transform the main goal of their building codes from Energy Efficiency to Decarbonisation, but did voluntarily decide to enact a passive house standard for residential buildings as a mandatory standard. This thrilling story is now an example for other States in USA and not only there.
